I had the opportunity to grow up in a racing family. From there, I discovered many of my interests both as an athlete and an artist. As a young boy, nothing compelled me more than the speed and excitement of motorcycle racing. And then to learn that my Uncle Jerry Mattox was really good at it. This took me to a whole new level of joy. Watching an athlete rise through the ranks as a professional is something to behold, but to see him do it in two separate disciplines provides a great deal of insight to the ways of the racing world. I was lucky to have these experiences as a young man.

Motorsport has a way of bringing our best and brightest into the limelight, but it’s what we do with this newfound attention that defines us. Case Study: The R35 Nissan GT-r
In 2014, the RaceCo team went on tour. They raced events all over the country. The team boasted that they owned the fastest Nissan GTR in all of North America. By the end of the 2014 season the results were in and it was clear that they in fact did own the fastest Nissan GTR and this was all due to the incredible power put forth by Alpha Performance and their Alpha 10 Turbo package. The RaceCo team’s success was coupled with a strategic multimedia platform provided by JoshLloydMedia to enhance the team’s reputation within the industry. From these efforts Alpha Performance took notice. They sent Chris Black, the company’s lead engine calibration specialist to check out their work first hand. Ultimately, Alpha sponsored the team with a brand new $17,000 turbo kit for the up-coming season.
Case in point, companies like Alpha Performance are not going to notice you right away. You have to work towards your goals by producing creative content on your own. You have to create new and unique content regularly to bring awareness to your skill set and/or any products you wish to sell. DAMON BACK / Roosevelt, Utah
MOTOCROSS / SUPERCROSS
Born into a racing family, Damon took to the track early. As he came up through the ranks of the local scene in Utah, the family put forth a strategy to help him become one of the fastest riders to come out of the local scene. With the support of their long time friend and local pro Gray Devenport, Damon excelled to new heights in MX. He was not only winning state championships, but he was beginning to show strengths as a rider that are rarely seen. In 2014, Damon became the intermediate AMSOIL Arenacross Champion. Jesi Stracham / Iron Station, North Carolina
Adaptive Athlete / UTV Driver
In 2017, we were introduced to this incredible woman. Just two years earlier she had suffered a spinal chord injury. With the help of an experimental surgery, Jesi is searching for ways to better improve her condition. She has utilized adaptive sports such as Obstacle Course Racing to cross train for her racing career, and has currently taken extra time to better prepare herself for a prosperous future in UTV / GNCC racing. ADAPT AND THRIVE
Jesi was in a motorcycle accident on January 18th, 2015. She had surgery two days later for a little over 7 hours. The doctors were confident they did everything to set her up for the best recovery possible. Jesi is paralyzed from the waist down. She is in good spirits and has a long journey ahead to recovery. Project #inspirACEtion started as a viral video challenge, but quickly became a worldwide sensation, reaching Europe and gaining National media attention on the Today Show. Jesi has touched countless lives through her progress in physical therapy, and has continued to race competitively.

We came across theTony in 2016. He was fresh off a win at Global Time Attack in Road Atlanta, and he was beaming with confidence. He had connected with JoshLloydMedia as the team driver for the Pure Tuning Racing Team out of Toledo, Ohio. They came down to Atlanta to prove they were competitive, but did much more than that. theTony is an advocate for outdoor sports and he has become a proven inspiration for a lot of people. BEHOLD THE BEAST
The PURE TUNING time attack racing team and team driver Thetony Calabrese brought the heat to Road Atlanta for the first round of the 2016 Global Time Attack Championships. With their Subaru Impreza WRX STi 03-05 in full session, they made sure to turn some heads. This impressive group of privateers went home with the LIMITED AWD First Place trophy.

Vince is unlike many of the other racing drivers who come into contact with JoshLloydMedia. He is unique because he’s a privateer.
